1 day Luxor Highlights (by bus)

Departing early in the morning, travel through the desert to Luxor, stopping on route to enjoy your breakfast box (provided by hotel).

Arriving in Luxor, stop off at the massive Colossi of Memnon and the spectacular Temple of Queen Hatschepsut. After this visit the Valley of the Kings, home to tombs of the great Pharoahs - including Ramses the Great - and the site of the discovery of Tutankhamun's treasures in 1922 by Howard Carter, previously untouched for over 3,000 years.

Following this cross from the West Bank to the East bank of the majestic Nile on a felucca ride with a stop off for lunch (included).

After lunch, visit the awe-inspiring Temple of Karnak before returning to the bus for onward transfer to Marsa Alam or El Quseir.

Tour price includes entrance fees, lunch, boat ride along the Nile and services of an English speaking guide.

2 Day Luxor Highlights (by bus)

Early morning start for a drive to Hurghada airport for flight to Cairo. Starting with a visit to the fascinating Egyptian Museum, home to over 250,000 artefacts, including the legendary treasures of Tutankhamun - accompanied by an English speaking guide.

After lunch (included), visit the breathtaking Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, the only remaining original Seven Wonders of the World, followed by the Old Citadel and then on to the world famous Khan el Khalili bazaar before being transported back to the airport for your return flight to Hurghada.

2 Day Cairo Delights (by bus)

2 Day Abu Simbel & Aswan Memories (by bus)


Depart early morning for transfer to Abu Simbel.

Upon arrival in Abu Simbel, located on the western bank of Lake Nassar, admire the two massive temples, possibly the most famous temples in Egypt.

After arriving in Aswan, visit the magnificent Philae Temple, the Aswan High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk.

Abu Dabbab Snorkelling (Morning)


Famous with divers and snorkellers alike, Abu Dabbab is a fantastic spot from which to see some of the best corals and marine life found in the Red Sea.

Transfer to Abu Dabbab, located approximately 30 minutes south of Port Ghalib in the morning.

Upon arrival pick up your snorkelling equipment (included) and walk out to the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea where you may be lucky enough to see dugongs or sea turtles.

For those who don't wish to snorkel, relax on the beautiful sandy beach.

Seascope semi-submersible (morning)
If you prefer dry land to the water but don't want to miss out on the spectacular array of coloured corals and variety of underwater life that lie beneath the Red Sea, then this is the trip for you.

Through angled glass panels that run along the length of the boat you'll be able to enjoy some of the best coral and marine life in the Red Sea from a comfortable and air conditioned environment.

Desert Discovery (Afternoon/early evening event)


Drive out into the desert to a traditional Bedouin village and enjoy some local Egyptian tea, before going on a short camel ride.

After your camel ride, enjoy a guided tour of the Bedouin village and see how these traditional dwellers really live before enjoying a BBQ dinner.

El Quseir Resort Tour


Depart early afternoon for transfer to El Quseir. Drive along the coastal road admiring the fantastic views as you go.

Upon arrival take a tour of the fortress and marvel at the artefacts and cannons dating as far back as the Napoleon era before soaking up the rich local culture with a stroll along the main road where you can snap up a bargain at the local shops and admire the fantastic architecture.

After this relax with a traditional shisha pipe and soft drink on the beach cafe.

Desert & Red Sea (full day)


Drive out in the morning to a traditional Bedouin village and enjoy some local Egyptian tea before going on a short camel ride.

After camel trip, take a tour around the Bedouin village before enjoying a BBQ lunch (included).

After lunch, continue to Abu Dabbab beach, where you can snorkel the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea or simply spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach before your early evening transfer back to your hotel.

The Camel Market & Shalateen (full day)


Depart early morning for the city of Shalateen, a city yet to be touched by tourism. Here you'll visit the camel market, where you can see thousands of camels being traded between the Egyptian and the Sudanese.

After seeing the camels, visit the market area where you can haggle with the hundreds of outlets selling many souvenir items or visit the Egyptian cafe, super market or restaurant.

Tour price includes lunch and the services of an English speaking guide.

Location: On the Red Sea coast of mainland Egypt, around 4 hours south of Hurghada.
Transfer time: Approximately 10 minutes from
Marsa Alam Airport.

Summary: Diving in Marsa Alam

The offshore islands in this area have recently been reopened for diving after a long closure by the Egyptian Government and have been designated as a Marine Park. Suitable moorings have now been installed for dive boats visiting this area. Enjoy some fabulous day dives to the famous reefs of Elphinstone, Marsa Mubarak and Dolphin House Reef (Sha'ab Samadai), where there is a good chance to see dolphins in this beautiful protected National Park. The bays here are home to excellent corals, large turtles and Guitar rays and the islands off Marsa Alam are a highlight of the area.

Diving Highlights

Marsa Abu Dabab


A world famous selection of dive sites boasting an unbelievable number of Giant Turtles as well as the chance to spot Dugongs and Guitar Sharks. A must for anyone visiting the Southern Red Sea.

Elphinstone Reef


A large cigar-shaped offshore that offers wall diving that is both exhilarating and spectacular, with regular sightings of Napoleons and Turtles as well as large Pelagics including Manta Rays, Grey Reef, Hammerhead and Oceanic white tip Sharks, Tuna and Barracuda; all drawn to the reef by its strong current and abundance of fish life.

Sha'ab Samadai


A short ride by bus and boat from Port Ghalib is Sha'ab Samadai, a horseshoe shaped reef known locally as Dolphin House. Offering truly spectacular diving including the awe inspiring Cathedral swim-through and a remarkable collection of hard and soft coral, anemone cities and a resident Napoleon Wrasse. The reef is also used regularly by a pod of Spinner Dolphins and there may be an opportunity to snorkel with them between dives.

Marine Life

Parrotfish, dolphins, angelfish, butterflyfish, clownfish, emperorfish, barracuda, tuna, turtles, napoleon wrasse, moray eels, stingrays, reef sharks, guitar rays, whale sharks and,
occasionally, manta rays and dugongs.
